GIFT GUIDE: FOR THE HOMEBODY

I’m so excited to kick off my series of 2023 Gift Guides with a gift guide for the homebody in your life! As I was putting together these gift guides, this one was perhaps the easiest one – and that’s no surprise, since I consider myself a homebody. These gifts are perfect for the person in your life who loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch with their beloved pet and a comfort movie. The one who will always choose staying in over going out, who appreciates the little luxuries that elevate every day life, and whose home is their sacred space. Keep reading for my gift ideas for the homebody!

Gift Ideas for the Homebody

Hotel Lobby Candle – $56

As a self-declared homebody, I’m here to tell you that a fancy candle is the perfect gift. It’s something that your favorite homebody might not be willing to splurge on themselves, but they’d surely be thrilled to unwrap it on Christmas morning! When purchasing a candle for someone else, I try to stick to neutral scents – and this Miami one from Hotel Lobby looks like it fits the bill perfectly.

Calming Sleep Mist – $10

If there’s anyone who appreciates little luxuries in life, it’s a homebody. A spritz of this calming lavender sleep mist on their pillow each night will make them feel like they’re spending the night in their favorite upscale hotel!

Barefoot Dreams Sock Set – $30

Gone are the days when socks were considered a lame gift – as an adult, I ask for socks for Christmas every year! These cozy socks are like a Barefoot Dreams blanket for your feet – what could be better than that?!

Shower Steamers Aromatherapy – $30

If someone in your life needs a little self-care, gift them these shower steamers! They come in several scents, but I’d recommend the eucalyptus and mint – it sounds like the perfect invigorating and refreshing combination of scents.

Puzzle Board with Drawers & Cover Mat – $70

This puzzle board is a step up from the puzzle mats that you may have seen floating around online – it even includes drawers for loose pieces. Perfect for the friend who always has a puzzle going!

Faux Fur Ruched Throw – $179

If you’re looking for a gift to splurge on for the homebody in your life, I promise they won’t be disappointed by a fancy faux fur throw! This one is beautiful and luxurious – it would be perfect for cuddling up on the couch and watching their favorite comfort movie.

Aesop Resurrection Hand Wash – $41

I’m a sucker for pretty packaging, and this Aesop hand wash looks so beautiful. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this brand!

Calvin Klein Plush Robe – $27

Trust me when I say that there’s no better feeling than stepping out of an everything shower and wrapping yourself up in a big fluffy robe. This one looks perfectly plush and the price point is amazing!

Minnetonka Mule Slipper – $55

Every homebody needs a pair of plush slippers, and you can’t go wrong with Minnetonka brand ones. These ones are made with faux shearling (so they’re cruelty free!) and they’ll add just the right amount of cozy to cold winter days.

Candle Warmer – $30

Candle warmers are all the rage lately, and I can see why! I’m adding this one to my own Christmas list – it comes highly recommended and I love that it’s both pretty and functional. A candle warmer can extend the life of your candles by melting the wax without lighting the flame!

Lush Sleepy Lotion – $15

I’ve been using this sleepy lotion for close to ten years now and it’s still a favorite of mine. Although everyone has different scent preferences, I’ve found that lavender is pretty universally appealing. This lotion super moisturizing and has a light lavender scent that’s fresh and comforting.

Unwind Lavender Gift Set – $58

This adorable gift set includes a lavender grow kit, a pillow spray, a sleep mask, and a soy-blend scented candle – all items that any homebody would love! It even comes in pretty packaging, so all you have to do is wrap it up and put it under the tree.

Lou & Grey Luvstretch Joggers – $80

I purchased these joggers in green a year and a half ago and they’re the comfiest pants I’ve ever owned. I bought a second pair in black earlier this fall and it confirmed that they’re truly the perfect pair of paints for lounging around the house!

Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug – $110

I can’t be the only person who can’t seem to finish a hot drink before it gets cold! I’ve heard rave reviews about these Ember mugs – you can set them to your preferred temperature and they’ll keep your drink hot for 80 minutes.

Organized Living Coffee Table Book – $30

Who doesn’t love a good coffee table book? I own and love Shira Gill’s first coffee table book, Minimalista, so of course her second one is on my list! This book provides practical advice for staying organized and maintaining a beautiful home – and as an added bonus, it would look beautiful displayed on a coffee table.
